The support layer placed behind the fabric you’re embroidering. It ensures your stitches remain in place and the fabric doesn’t bunch up.
Topping
A layer, often water or heat-soluble, placed on top of fabrics with a texture (like towels) to prevent stitches from getting buried in the fabric.
Blanks
Any item you wish to embroider, ranging from fabric to clothing items.
Spray Adhesive
Used to temporarily bond the fabric and stabilizer during embroidery.
Embroidery Scissors
Sharp and precise scissors for intricate cutting needs, such as trimming threads or cutting appliqué fabric.

Using tools to indicate the exact spot an embroidery design should be placed.
